Water resistance test: The tent is tested for rain resistance by simulating rainfall and conducting a spray test. The spray test equipment should ensure that the distance between the spray heads and the top of the tent is no less than 0.8 meters, the distance between the spray heads in all directions is no more than 1 meter, and the water spray volume of each spray head is no less than 40L/30 minutes, to ensure that the spray area evenly covers the entire tent. After continuous spraying for 30 minutes, observe whether there is any water seepage on the inner surface of the tent.

Ventilation performance test: Inspect the ventilation design of the tent to ensure good air circulation inside and prevent stuffiness and condensation. For example, check whether the tent provides at least two ventilation openings, with each person having at least one ventilation opening of 100cmยฒ in area, and evaluate the effectiveness of the ventilation system.

Flame retardancy test: Test the combustion performance of tent materials, including ignition time, flame spread speed, burning speed, and whether there are droplets and other indicators. Evaluate the flammability of the materials to ensure the safety of the users.

Dimensional stability test: After processing the tent samples under specified temperature, humidity and time conditions, measure the dimensional changes to ensure that the dimensions of the tents do not change significantly when used under different environmental conditions.

Zipper testing: This includes transverse strength testing and continuous reciprocating motion testing to ensure that the zipper can still open and close normally after multiple uses and is not easily damaged.

Pull rope system test: Apply the corresponding tensile force to the pull rope system and maintain it for a certain period of time. Then observe whether the pull rope system shows any damage or permanent deformation.

Insect resistance performance test: Evaluate the tent’s ability to block and protect against insects, especially that all doors and ventilation openings in the inner tent should be able to prevent mosquitoes when closed. If insect-proof nets are used, the maximum mesh size should be 1mmร—1mm.
